Concrete Mixer Truck

A concrete mixer (transit) truck carries and continuously agitates ready-mix concrete from the batching plant to the pour, keeping it workable in transit. OCALWA supplies mixer trucks from 6 to 16 m³ on proven heavy chassis, matched to your drum size, chassis configuration and emissions standard, direct from verified factories.

Built for continuous ready-mix delivery

The mixing drum is fabricated from wear-resistant steel with internal spiral blades that load, agitate and fully discharge the concrete by reversing rotation. A hydraulic pump and motor driven off the chassis engine turn the drum at a steady speed so the mix stays homogeneous even in traffic.

An onboard water tank rinses the drum and chute after each pour and can adjust slump on site. Discharge height, chute reach and drum speed are configured for your job, and the chassis can be specified 6x4 or 8x4 with left- or right-hand drive.

Configurations & options

Drum size, chassis, drive and engine are matched to your ready-mix volume and roads. Tell us the cubic metres per load, road/axle limits and LHD or RHD and we specify the right truck.

Why buy mixer trucks through OCALWA

Sized to your pour

We match drum size, chassis and engine to your batch volume, road limits and axle-load rules, so you are not over- or under-trucked.

New and refurbished options

Choose brand-new units for fleet standardisation, or inspected refurbished trucks to cut capital cost on lower-cycle work.

Parts and support that stay available

Common wear parts (blades, seals, hydraulic pump, reduction gearbox) are stocked and re-orderable, and chassis use widely serviced engines.

Frequently asked questions

Common sizes run 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 m³. Choose by your batch size and, critically, by local axle-load and road rules: a 12 m³ drum needs an 8x4 chassis to stay legal on most roads, while 6 to 8 m³ on a 6x4 suits tighter sites and lighter bridges. Tell us your typical load and road limits and we size it.

Yes. Most Latin American markets use left-hand drive, which is standard on our export units. Emissions can be specified Euro III, Euro V or Euro VI to match your country's fuel quality and import rules, since low-sulphur diesel is not available everywhere. We confirm the right combination before order.

A new mixer truck gives full warranty and fleet uniformity at the highest price. A refurbished unit (rebuilt engine and gearbox, new drum or box and new tyres, fully inspected) costs a fraction and suits lower-cycle or backup work. We disclose exactly what was replaced and provide inspection photos before you commit.

The drum rotates continuously in transit to keep the mix moving, and the onboard water tank is used to rinse the drum, blades and chute immediately after every discharge. Operators should never leave concrete standing; with routine wash-down the wear-resistant drum lining lasts for years.

Yes. We stock and re-order blades, seals, the hydraulic pump and motor, the reduction gearbox, chute parts and water-system components. The chassis uses widely serviced diesel engines, so consumables like filters and belts are easy to source locally as well.

Minimum order is one unit. Mixer trucks ship by RORO (driven on/off the vessel) or in flat-rack/open-top containers for smaller drums. OCALWA arranges the shipping, marine insurance and full export paperwork to your nearest port and can quote FOB, CFR or CIF.

Yes. OCALWA consolidates the unit from a verified factory, arranges RORO or container shipping, and provides full export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading). We regularly ship to Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic, and can quote FOB, CFR or CIF to your nearest port.
