Tower Crane
A tower crane provides the vertical reach and lifting capacity that mid- and high-rise construction depends on, moving formwork, rebar, concrete skips and materials across the whole footprint from a fixed mast. OCALWA supplies flat-top and hammerhead tower cranes, matched to your building height, jib radius and tip load, from verified factories.
Reach and lift for high-rise work
The mast is built from bolted or pinned tower sections that climb with the building using an internal or external climbing cage, reaching free-standing heights of tens of metres and far higher when tied to the structure. Flat-top designs omit the tower head for easier assembly and multi-crane sites; hammerhead designs use a classic A-frame and counter-jib.
A variable-frequency (VFD) hoist gives smooth, precise load placement and higher line speeds on light hooks. Load and moment limiters, anemometer and optional zone/anti-collision control keep multi-crane sites safe. We supply the mast sections, jib, hoist, slewing and climbing gear as a matched package.

A flat-top crane has no tower head above the jib, so sections are lighter to lift into place and cranes can overlap more safely on multi-crane sites. A hammerhead has the traditional A-frame and pendant bars, often giving strong load charts at long radius. We recommend based on your site and lifts.
Free-standing height is tens of metres depending on the model and mast section. Once tied to the building with wall-anchor frames at intervals, the crane can climb far higher, following the structure up floor by floor. We calculate the free height and tie-in spacing for your building.
Erection, climbing and dismantling must be done by a qualified local crane crew following the manufacturer's procedures and your local regulations, usually with a mobile crane to raise sections. We supply the full method statement, drawings and torque specs, and can advise your team remotely.
Yes. Where jibs overlap we supply zone-limiting and anti-collision systems that automatically slow and stop cranes before they interfere, plus height offsets so jibs pass clear. We help plan crane positions and heights so coverage and safety are both met.
A tower crane ships as mast sections, jib and counter-jib parts, hoist, slewing unit and ballast, typically across several containers plus some out-of-gauge/flat-rack pieces. OCALWA packs and consolidates it and hands over a full packing list so nothing is missing at assembly.
Yes. Many buyers pair a tower crane with a rack-and-pinion construction (builder's) hoist for moving workers and materials up the building. We can supply both from the same source and ship them together to save on freight and coordination.
Yes.
