A gas generator set burns natural gas, biogas or LPG instead of diesel, cutting fuel cost where gas is cheap or free (such as farm biogas or landfill gas) and running cleaner and quieter. Cheaper, cleaner fuel
A spark-ignition gas engine with an air-fuel mixer and control drives the same brushless AVR alternator as a diesel set. It is configured for your gas: pipeline natural gas, farm or landfill biogas (after treatment), or bottled LPG, with the right pressure regulation and safety shut-offs.
Where you have a cheap or waste gas source, running cost drops sharply versus diesel, and emissions and noise are lower. It suits farms with biogas digesters, landfill gas capture, and industry on a natural-gas grid.

It can be configured for pipeline natural gas, LPG, or biogas from a farm digester or landfill after basic treatment (removing moisture and hydrogen sulphide). Biogas quality matters a lot, so tell us the methane content and any H2S, and we set up the engine and gas train to suit.
For continuous prime power on a steady gas supply, gas sets are proven and reliable, and they carry the same brushless AVR alternator and controls. Diesel still starts faster from cold and tolerates poorer fuel, so many sites keep a diesel set for emergency standby and run gas as the cheap base load.
Yes. We build 50 Hz or 60 Hz and set the voltage to your grid (for example 120/240V, 220/380V or 240/416V, single or three phase). Latin America is mostly 60 Hz. Tell us your country's frequency, voltage and phase and we configure the alternator and controller accordingly.
The set uses mainstream international engines whose oil, fuel and air filters, belts and pumps are widely stocked across Latin America. We also supply a starter spares kit and can re-order alternator parts, the controller, AVR and hoses so downtime stays short.
Standby rating is for backup when the grid fails, used a limited number of hours a year at varying load. Prime rating is for continuous running as the main power source, at a lower rated output for the same set. If it is your only power, size on prime; if it is grid backup, size on standby. We rate it to how you will actually run it.
The set is built with your choice from several established international diesel engine brands, paired with a brushless, self-exciting alternator with AVR voltage regulation. You pick the engine tier to match your budget, fuel and local service network; we confirm the exact pairing and its rating before order.
Yes. Beyond the bare set we supply the automatic transfer switch (ATS), starting batteries, connection cables, remote monitoring and a starter spares kit, from a verified factory (ISO 9001 + CE). OCALWA arranges container or RORO shipping and full export documentation, and regularly ships to Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic, quoting FOB, CFR or CIF.
